Multiple Relapser Program
Every recovering addict knows the stress of temptation. Addiction doesn’t just go away after a stay in an addiction treatment facility. Even for those who’ve completed rehab programs, relapses will occur – and for many this can lead to a dangerous backslide into the addict’s lifestyle. Compounding this is the feeling of guilt or failure when a relapse happens. Merito’s staff gets it – we understand that there should be no shame in a relapse; even the strongest of us will have difficulty avoiding temptation.
If At First You Don’t Succeed
We welcome those who have tried detox or rehab at our locations or even another location. While some can avoid using again, most people who’ve gone through rehab will succumb to the triggers at some point in their life. If this is the case, and you or your loved one has started to use again or even needs support to keep going – never give up the fight. Merito’s Multiple Relapser Programs might just be the program he needs to recover. For each client we individualize the treatment strategy; we look holistically at the patient’s case, comprising the mental, physical, and emotional needs of our patients. Our comfortable, home-like, safe, and welcoming facilities exist to encourage and guide our patients through the minefield of addiction aftercare. From detoxification to inpatient treatment to a halfway house, Merito is in it for the long haul.
Relapse is not the same thing as failure. If you or a loved one has gotten treatment in the past but find yourself in the same old situation, remember you’re not alone. Despite the love and support of their families, so many of our alumni still feel that they’ve let someone down when they relapse, even if it’s just themselves. At Merito we understand that addictions can be managed and treated, but never truly cured. We don’t judge because we know what it’s like; many of our staff have been down the road of recovery themselves.
